IMHO, the "blinder" the better. I would want to avoid the temptation to try to identify the box and its sender prior to picking. If it's possible to match up the numbers on the box with the pics posted by the sender, everyone would be able to figure out which box was sent by who.0patience:
I'm thinking that if we use the USPS flat rate small boxes, then they are available to everyone for no cost. I think we're getting down to the details of it.
But it sounds as if most everyone is leaning toward the completely blind pass.

To create a little mystery for the early participants, Tony and I have agreed to do this jointly. I will be sending half of the initial boxes to him to start this pass. So the first person in line will have a couple different people's mystery boxes to pick from. Again at the end, we will divide the unopened boxes between us. This should be pretty awesome.

We are shooting for making this happen around Feb. 8.
Hopefully have all the logistics worked out by then.
I have to check on boxes and all to find the most economical way to do this. Remember, this is a baseline cigar pass. No one expects you to throw in premiprems.
If you do, that is your choice. If you do not, no one expects you to.
Cigars you think others want to try, but haven't, is kind of what I was thinking.
