Who's got kids?

SalemSalem Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 717
I've got 2 grown daughters ages 22 and 26. The 26 year old is married and lives an hour away. My 22 year old lives in Winston-Salem and goes to Wake Forest School of medicine 3 and a half hours away. No grandchildren. For those of you that have small children, enjoy them thoroughly, they grow up so fast and I miss mine being little How about you? Tell me about your children.

LOL!!! We put our youngest through undergrad along with her scholarships. But she is footing the bill for med school with loans. We still pay her cell phone and her Ins. Car Ins, etc. but that's about it. Oldest one.....never asks for a dime.

2 girls...10 and 7. I think my oldest one takes after me in many ways and my youngest is more like my wife. I love em both to death and I feel blessed everday that I get to spend with them (ok maybe not everyday) but you know what I mean.

Yup, and they're the reasons I roll my crippled a** outta bed every morning and go to work. Not saying that in a derogatory manner, just that I want to provide them with the things they need and the things I never had when I was growing up.

The medical field is a good thing to go into these days. I'm an RN and even though things got tight in the field during the economy fiasco, you're still better off than lots of folks finding jobs.

Ain't easy, brother. I work 2 full time jobs as a Paramedic/Firefighter, part time as a tattoo apprentice and my buddy and I are trying to get our bike shop off the ground. Every minute I have with my brood is precious to me.

I have 3 kids and a step-daughter. The youngest is 16, the rest are 19, 20 and 21 (three girls and one boy) and I have a grand-daughter. Don't see the kids near as much as I want to or should. They grew up with their mom and see me as the 'other parent'.
I'm proud of them and work hard to keep them in my life

Two daughters, 12 & 14... pray for me the next several years my friends, pray for me! Most people save for their kids' college... me? I save for legal fees. I figure if I can beat the case for the first boy I cripple, the rest MAY just have second thoughts about my daughters.

Probably wont work any better for me than it has in the history of the world, but just like every father of daughters in the history of the world - wont stop me from trying! :-)
