    We used to do some monthly "parallel tastings" on realbeer.com some time back, although it was a chat room rather than Skype. We would announce a few weeks in advance what beer we would be trying and everyone would be able to try to get a hold of some so we could all be drinking it at the same time and give their impressions of it.

    This is An increwdible Idea... I will have to install Skype on the Laptop, I only have it on my desktop so ill need it to go outside...ill add you to Skype and will work on the rest LOL before i can smoke one

    just had a summer afternoon thunderstorm roll through, now about to light up a la herencia cubana core robusto, gonna try pairing with some cognac and see how it is. If it sucks, i got a diesel unl as a backup. lol

    I can't even figure out how to get on Skype. Every time I try to find someone or anything, it says I'm not online. This is while I am online, before you ask.

    If you can, check your status; you may have it set to Away or Offline; go to one of the tabs at the top, "Skype-> Online Status -> Online. I finally figured out that all you need to add someone is to know their handle/skype name to get them. If anyone else is on, come on; Krieg and I are on now

    Nope, its set to "online". When I try to do anything, I get a pop-up with a yellow triangle and exclamation point, underneath it reads, "CHECK YOUR CONNECTION - you do not seem to have an active internet connection". It is doing this right now, as I am posting this to the forums.

    Try this: http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=768993 Seems you may need to open up Internet Explorer, even if you don't use it, and make sure it's not in offline mode

    Just got done herfing with Krieg - had a good time, and I'm looking forward to it again; hope to see more of you BOTL's there next time :)

    Tried that, no dice. I think it is just because my laptop has Vista on it and nothing fucking works with Vista.
