Thanks bro. What was the other hit?
Well, they had We're not gonna take it and I wanna Rock...I think they were both hits. Not exactly a TS fan, so I can't say for sure. Oh, and your cigars went out today.

PM sent, and I already have a movie picked out.
My movie was the first film adaptation of a 60's novel and the music score for this movie was done by this popular rock band. Name the movie and the band.

I know this is probably wrong but just to keep this moving I'll throw a guess out.

The movie is Dune based on Frank Herbert's novel of the same title and the majority of the soudtrack was composed by the band Toto

Dang, that was just a shot in the dark. I loved the series of books. The movie wasn't bad but they could have done better. Anyway, I'll shoot you a pm with my addy and think up a question to post later.

OK guys, sorry for the long delay. I won't go into it. Anyway, here is the question.

This movie came out in the mid 90s and was a first for many in it. As the first hint, it was the first studio backed film for the director.

OK, another hint. This was also the first American feature film for the leading actress.

Next hint, this was the second collaboration for the trio of the director, lead actress and lead actor. It also had cameo's by another famous writer/director, an actor that appeared in one of that person' films and a famous, old school comedian/actor.

    Batman?
A little early Jet. I think Batman started in the late 80s. The movie I'm lookin for was released around 1995 and didn't have anyone from any of the Batman movies in it.

Alright for the next clue, this film is the sequel to one an independent film written by the director 4 years earlier and became the second film in the trilogy when the 3rd film was released in 2003. The third film brought the 3 from the second film back together as well as three others from the film that I am thinking of. The third film also had 4 other famous actors and 1 actress. Also in regards to the last clue, the director, comedian/actor, lead actor from this film, and another actor from this film have worked on many projects together.
