Last night i wrapped a 1.25 lb steak in extra thick sliced bacon and washed it down with a Guinness. OMG it was sooo good. I only regret that it was to cold and windy for a smoke.0

A buddy at work says he does this about 10-12 times a year. Chicken Livers wrapped in bacon with a toothpick stuck thru it and put in a slow cooker with hickory seasoning .....not a combination I would thought of but now I'm intrigued ...0

Ha! Googled it Jet and you are right , have you ever actually had it ? I love chicken livers (homemade not the fast food fried liver bricks) and bacon so I think I'll give it a shot ...0 -

If you have a Costco near you, they sell pre-cooked bacon in the freezer section that can be put in the microwave and be ready in less than a minute. 50 slices for under $10 and it is actually quite good.0

Yep, just takes a few more seconds in the nuker. My wife is extremely picky about her bacon, only eats it crispy, and she swears by the stuff.0
