Had another Padilla Single Batch #RC17 and had a much better experience this time. Really enjoyed it! Looking forward to getting some of these in the Toro Grande size from BigT06 in a trade this week!
I thought #RC17 was good, but I thought Padilla Single Batch #53GH was better, it seemed to have more depth.

Puro Authentico. Just might be the best cigar I've smoked for quiet some time.

smoked a LP T52 what a great smoke, I wish Drew Estate would develop more new traditional sticks.
agreed. I have never smoked a LP... I was very generously given one by RCY Cigars, but I'm trying very hard to let it rest a while...

however, I can fully agree with what you said about DE. I am not a fan of infused cigars as a general rule, but there is no denying the knowledge and skill that the guys at DE put into their cigars. I too just wish they had more traditional stuff to choose from. It would be super great to see a sub $6 traditional stick imho.
They have a sub 6$ traditional line (La Vieja Habana)... they just aren't on the same level as Liga Privada. The high quality tobacco, careful construction, and in depth blending that go into the Liga lines (I mean, there is a reason they have so many goddamn test blends floating around, and there are only 3 Liga Blends on the market right now) cost money. Frankly, for my money, the Liga Privada stuff is actually right on the mark pricing wise. You really do get what you pay for. I don't smoke a ton of maduros, so when I want one there are only a few I reach for... and you can bet your ass that the LP9 is one of them.

Enjoyed my very first Est. 1844 in the No 60 size. Tasted great, gave off a ton of smoke, and lasted forever. Yum.
