For the rest of this year I am stateside. We have a deployment to Iraq coming up in January some time though I am fairly certain. After that though, I will be done for good - out of the Army and living in Austin, TX. The day I move from Fayetteville, NC to Austin, TX will be the happiest day of my short life thus far.laker1963:

It looks like Ballad. I've never been to Iraq, but I hear lately it's pretty dead. Fine by me, I won't mind not getting shot at this deployment! How long will you be in SA for? That is one of my favorite cities I have ever been to, and it's close to Austin! We certainly must plan for something.Nick2021:
