Smoking in winter

What do you guys have to do to enjoy a cigar in winter?
Up here in North Central MN I find it difficult to sit outside for an hour when its -20 so I try to squeeze one in when I shovel the driveway or some other winter yard work. It turns out that I can not shovel and smoke at the same time and wound up dropping it in the snow. Amazingly it did not go out but I had to work it to get it to burn the now snowy wrapper. Then once the snow melted the entire thing froze and turned into a solid ice stick but still smoked. The next drop was the end of its life.
The moral of the story is that I need a man cave.

I'm gonna be honest bout this...
Last night, I smoked another R.P. Vintage 1990 in my *man cave* (read garage with a small heater). I started the heater an hour before I went out, and dressed in long johns, ski pants and several layers of warm clothing, including hat AND hoody. It felt warm for the first third, the beer FROZE for the 2nd third of the cigar as the poor heater could not keep up with the cold, and I was forced to upgrade to Glenlevit 12 year old Scotch for the final 3rd of the smoke...which tasted like water at the end because it almost froze solid as the beer!!!
To be fair, I am probably quite a bit north of most of you (read Canada) and we are talking -26 Celcius, so that's dang cold. We're used to the cold, and anything near freezing temp feels warm this time of the year. Cigar smoking here in the winter is not for the faint of heart. Tough it out, or freeze your a$$ off, or don't smoke.
The other downside is that with the current anti-smoking laws, there is NO INDOOR SMOKING in any bar, club, arena, mall or other heated venue. I don't allow smoking in my house, so too bad for me, right?
Wow dude, that's colder than Cleveland. -26 C is 14.8 F. Right now it's about mid 20s here. I have my garage door half open and my parabolic heater aimed at my face as I smoke my Padilla. I may or may not have a Myers and Coke next to me. It is in no danger of freezing. Have you looked at propane heaters or parabolic electrics?
When it is warm enough for outside winter smokes I bundle up and bring a hot thermos with me to drink out of. Usually tea or hot cocoa. And I try like hell to not burn my down jacket.

Well, I tried it again last night, and the dang beer froze again! I gotta get a better heater! At least the 5 Vegas Relic stayed lit! I was smart this time nd++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++oops, my pet bird is helping me type again, sorry. I was smart this time and brought out a single malt Scotch. It freezes at lower temps, so it was f i n e fine.
I go outside, light a cigar and smoke it...cold is not an issue when you have a beard as manly as mine and are Canadian.
