I put on my long underwear and all my ski clothes along with hat, gloves, the works, and go outside and smoke it. I live in Denver and go to the mountains often. Just bundle the hell up. I find its always worth it. Of course at the ski resorts you can usually find an outdoor fire pit to smoke at, makes it much more enjoyable. We only have two indoor bars in the city where you can smoke a cigar and one closes early. Sucks. --Maimer12
I am fortunate to have a choice of two indoor smoking establishments:
The local B&M lounge. Big screen TV, food and beverage encouraged, perfect.
The local Indian resort/casino. Freedom on Indian land.
It it weren't for them, I wouldn't even go through two cigars a month in the winter. As it is, I make out pretty well.
I bundle up the best I can, have a bourbon or rum drink, and pick from my current stash of petit coronas so that I'm not out in the elements too long. Of course I live in South Carolina, and while it does get pretty cold on occasion, it's usually not too bad. If you guys from Canada saw me all bundled up with a heavy coat and hoody on in this frigid 35+ F degree weather, you'd probably call me a big ol' pu$$y while you enjoyed your 7x57 stick in your bermuda shorts and t-shirt. But I wouldn't mind becuase I'd just laauugghh my butt off watching you dudes melt here in August!!
The best home improvement I ever made was installing a wood burning furnace in my garage. It was originally for when I needed to do some work on my car in the winter but it heats the garage so well I find my self spending just as much time out there in January as I do in June. I have turned 1/3 of the garage into my "man cave". I have dart boards, stereo and tv out there year round now and warmth is no longer an issue.
We can smoke in my local B & M, so I go down there and enjoy a cigar and cup of coffee. He was going to build a cigar lounge, but apparently that fell through.

I travel to Denver quite often, have you smoked a cigar at Cool River cafe? They have a great area isolated INSIDE to have a good cigar. I go everytime I fly to Denver.
Man I feel bad sitting here in shorts and a t-shirt reading about beer freezing and heaters not being able to do the job b/c it's just too damn cold. I live in Louisiana so really cold weather just doesn't happen down here. The high today is 72* with a low around 60*. We're supposed to get down in the 30's later on this week so I guess i'll have to wear some jeans and a long sleeve!!! Bundle up boys and Happy Holidays to all BOTL!!!!!
During this time of year, there are a few evenings where I would have to use a light jacket and slacks if I wanted to smoke outside in the evening. I don't smoke everyday so it's not a big deal if I wait a day or two for a warmer evening. There are always the local B&M's if I really want a smoke. I decided a long time ago that I wouldn't smoke a cigar while doing chores around the house. It kind of defeated the purpose of relaxing with a cigar for me.
Lets see.... Hmmm... I smoke a heck of a lot less often. from 1-2 per week to 1 per every 1-2 months.
Have to make a trip to the few establishments where you can smoke or plan to freeze your A$$ off....
