    Have you considered a rescue dog?
    I know there are "breed-specific" rescue organizations here in OH; perhaps you can find a rescue dog and provide it a good home.

    I have yet to see any English Bulldogs in my area. But, checking your local rescue or pounds is an excellent idea and you should start your search there. As far as breeders go there are some very good ones out there for sure. But do your due diligence because some are no more then puppy mills. They make awesome pets and demonstrate great loyalties.
