That is a bummer. At the advice of many veterans here on the forum I try to keep my humis at 65% but I seriously doubt that is your problem. Hope it was just an isolated incident. I hope those sticks didn't cost you the price I heard they were going for.
They weren't maduro. My regular smoking habits beore smokin... I take the stick out of my cello and humi about a hour or two before toasting and lighting. I don't have a drybox setup... I think. Lol
Sad Indeed, I try not to smoke anything that has not been in My humi at least a month and even then I've had some crazy burns, thought I got some bum smokes one time after three duds in a row threw the box into the cooler and forgot about it for about 6 months, every stick finished with as close to a perfect burn as I've ever seen. Made me willing to be a little patient and let em rest.
From my experience fuente tends to pack one tight smoke! Some of the non Cameroon lines are almost rock solid and at a "normal" rh probably would be rather difficult to draw. I've got some magnum44's that you could put in a sock and knock people out with but at 65 rh they draw just fine. As I say this I don't think I've had a smoke at 70rh in a very long time
Give him a chance to think it over and do the right thing... If he doesn't pony up I'm more than willing to shove him under the bus, likely give him a good kick at the same time!
