jlmarta:My child bride and I did a nostalgia trip to Key West a few years ago. I was stationed there while in the USN. one of the places we visited was the Conch Republic Cigar Factory - a small hole-in-the-wall place where we could watch the lady roll cigars and explain the process to us. I bought a handful of various sticks and enjoyed them each over time - some ROTT, others after some rest. I thought they were goodClick HereHere's some relevant info that may help. I'd certainly shop there again, based on my one and only experience.
jlmarta:Nowadays it's cigars - when I was stationed there in 1954/55 it was all bars. Duval street is about 12 blocks long or so and there must have been 400 bars on Duval St. There were bars upstairs over bars, bars in the basement of other bars... Well, you get the picture. Of course, it was a Navy town.... Go figure.....
