Nice! My wife had a 67, and I had a 69 SS 396, until it came time to pay for college for the kids! I didn't do the work, but they were sure fun to drive!

88 Jeep Comanche, one tough little four wheel drive. Later model cars baffle me when they are in need of repair so I tend to simply take very good care of this one.
Well I decided to go and completly ruin my cigar budget.... possibly my wife's sanity as well... but I couldn't resist.... I like power... big power. So here we go to reach the moon. Still many more miles to go before it runs, but the intake part is done!
My dd is a pos Chevy cavalier. My REAL car is a 1996 Mustang Cobra. Built motor with forged internals and a supercharger on 10lbs of boost I think. I'm getting 528HP and 418TQ.
A POS '01 Chevy Blazer that's in desperate need of being shot, unless I finally get the tranny rebuilt.
A POS '99 Chevy Prizm, which belongs to my in-laws, until I fix said burnt out tranny in the Blazer.
My wife is rolling a 2010 Toyota Camry that I'm dying to bolt every piece of the TRD catalog onto. She hasn't said "no", but she has said "I'd rather you didn't" which is the same as your parents saying "I'm disappointed in you."... We bought the Toyota because it's easier on gas than the Blazer and she works an hours drive from home. I roll the beater because I work closer to home and spend 56 hrs straight on the job.

Oh man, what is it with wives and the "I'd rather you didn't" or "you sure you want to do that?" LOL!

Damn AJ --- now that's an engine!!! Hoooollllyyyyyy sssshhhheeeetttt. NICE!
I got an 09 legacy because my 98 grand prix was on it's last legs and needed more repairs than it was worth. Subaru had released the 5th gen body style and mine was one of the last new 4th gens on the lot so the dealership was looking to move it --- and I got a heck of a deal on it. Had it about 4.5 years now and it's still running great. It's not the most luxurious car on the road and I wouldn't win any races with it - but I love the AWD (it's saved my a$$ a few times), and the little 4-cylinder engine puts out a surprising amount of power, enough that I can zip around and have a little bit of fun every now and then.

Thanks! Heres a pic under the hood. Once it warms up I'm going to clean up the engine bay and get rid of some of the wires.
Cool thread, some of you guys have some killer rides! Particularly digging that '67 Camaro, but hey, who on here isn't? Right now I don't even own a car anymore...we got rid of ours in January last year, unfortunately, when we decided to trek around the world for 6mos. Now that we've been back home for a while it's been a matter of getting our business back together, and we're budgeting to buy a car come October or so (cash, so takes some planning!). Problem is, I'm on shaky ground with cars over here, so many brands I hardly know squat about - Peugeot, Tata, Opel, Ssyangyong, and more. We'll be looking to buy an SUV of some sort, but what I'm looking forward to is the BMW 6 droptop I have planned for next year.
Well, I had a Mk 6 VW GTI and I loved it... It was a lease and I traded it in for a '14 Passat cuz I'm an idiot and my fiance and I were kind of looking for something bigger... But we moved a ways away from my work so now I drive a pos Kia Spectra (her car), but next summer I'm either getting a Mk 7 GTI or a Ford Fiesta ST. Before you give me *** for looking at a Fiesta check out some reviews, everybody loves it and it gets good mpg... However all these cars are relatively boring compared to some of the other ones you guys have!!
bought a MK6 Jetta in feb, a big step up from the 01 Cherokee i was DD'in! I had to have something that got better gas milage, was more comfortable, and had a lot less miles. It was down to a vw, a subaru, or a kia soul. I was at a dealership to testdrive a subaru and a focus, never even sat in the subi because after pulling into the lot after driving the focus this pulled in behind us and i had to drive it, 2 hours later i was driving it home!
so ive been working a lot to try and pay it off. already put a trip to disney on it and about 3k miles
Love those rat rods!! I have never seen this thread before but I like it! I have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia with 253K miles!
TRD SuperCharger
Lexus GX F-Sport wheels
3" lift (front and back)
Big Brake Kit, TRD Leather upgraded interior, Westin Bull Bar and the list goes on....
