Clever and funny email marketing apology

There's another online cigar retailer out there whose name I won't mention in deference to this site being a c.com production, but I just wanted to say that they had a very clever response to an errant email. Normally, this site really does email far too much (at least once a day), and too few of the deals change that much, but today they mistakenly emailed an email that was supposed to go out on Labor Day weekend.

A couple hours later, they sent out a very funny 'apology' email that essentially blamed the entire thing on an idiot employee whose sole job is to press the red button that sends out the emails--and he hit the wrong one.

Maybe the whole thing was a setup, but even if it was the campaign was very clever.
