I usually retain my stogie in my hand but for those times I have to set it down; I stand it upright based my hypothesis that vertical is better.

I got a special surprise in the mail today.. Daniel sent me a Stogie Stand as part of his "this is not a contest" contest, after I noticed an alternative use for it in a " What's for Dinner" post. Thank you sir, I will use it often.
