Ready to age 5 Pack

Bad AndyBad Andy Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 848
So, I had the thought...if I could get a 5 pack of stogies to just let ride for a few or more years what would those 5 be? Gotta have the Oliva V (maduro preferably), Camacho 3xM, Padron '26...

What would be your 5? or hell 10?

Well, that's five...I'm sure there are some others, but those come to mind quickest.

    Oliva Serie V torpedos
    Gurkha Titan

The 2-3 year thing is questionable as to whether or not they'd last that long, though...

Swisher Sweet (Watermelon) Black and Mild Black and Mild (Wine) Dutch Master Honey Swisher Sweet (Grape) If I wanted to splurge, I'd throw some white owl strawberries too, but with my current budget, I don't want to get my hopes up.

id like to amend this a bit. whenever i buy a 5 pack of cigars one of them always hits the aging humidor. i wont pull em out till they get a year or so on it. i have yet to buy a five pack where every single one went in the aging humidor.

Yeah, I have one left...I picked up around 5-6 of them when I was down in Maddy's neck of the woods over the x-mas holiday.

ooohhh the Cojonu would be a good one. I got one in a pass or trade months ago and finally lit it up last weekend. Great smoke. I just picked up my first LFD Chisel last weekend and will put some time on it. But they are supposed to be great too. Can't wait for that one.

Yep, they are considered "old" at 2 months, and "gone" at 3.

Opus X would be another I'd age. I saw a box of 42 #5's for 800 or 900 I think I might pick up in the next month or so...I think I can keep my paws off of them for a while.

    For me, I would age:
    Opus X
    GoF Don Carlos
    Intenso

I don't have any more in my list at the moment. Maybe the Padron 1926.

I really ejoyed the LFD Chisel I had. My avatar is actually my wife taking a few draws on it. I wish I would have known more about cigars at the time and paid more attention to it. I do remember really enjoying it though.
