Next question.
How can you determine the height of a building using an iPhone?
0patience
toss it off the top and see how long it takes to land?
Approx 164 ft/second times how many seconds it takes to smash to the ground.
of course, drag, mass, gravity and air density will all play a part in it.

Haiku.

1: Tie a string to the iphone. Lower it from the top of the building until it reaches the ground. Add the length of the string and height of the iphone.
2: Stand the iphone up and measure the length of its' shadow. Using the Pythagorium theory, calculate the angle of the sun. Measure the length of the building's shadow and do the same to determine its' height.
3: Use Google Earth to determine the length of the shadow, and the imbedded data on time of exposure to determine the sun's angle in the sky. Then use the theorem again.
4: Use the iphone and call the superintendant and ask him.
