Am I the only one?

I am such a Klutz. More than once I've dropped a cigar that I've been enjoying and the wrapper unravels. Make me feel better here people and tell me I'm not alone.

When Oliva originally launched the Nub line, I purchased a fiver of the Cameroon torpedos as I was huge on Cameroon wrappers at the time. I was getting ready to enjoy one on a fine afternoon and as I was about to get settled I dropped the cigar right on the point...the wrapper essentially exploded off the cigar as it hit the patio. So yeah, I've had that happen a time or twenty.

Sorry to hear that, is he OK now? I guess the proper thing for me to do was ask jiliu if he was Ok before I busted a gut.

I dropped a MoW PA camping about 3 weeks ago in the dirt. Only was about 1/2 way through. So bummed as that was the last stick I brought with me.

Dropped a Virtue, killed it. Dropped a 5-Vegas the other day, dinged the tip so I smoked it, no problems.

I was walking past my Macaw Phil's cage and was holding a 5 Vegas classic with the need point torpedo. I was trying to prevent my son from petting Phil and getting bitten, when Phil bit the top of the cigar off and ripped it down.
He actually ate the tobacco and was subdued and buzzed for about 3 hours, serves him right. This was far worse than the times I have dropped a stick.

I'm surprised there aren't more 2nd-3rd degree burn accidents ... I dropped a RP edge as I was going out the door and it completely exploded. Knocked em out of the ash tray a few times. I accidently ashed on my arm and left a blister, ouch! I can only imagine dropping the actual cigar on yourself.

PS, I want to see the toe

No fun at all! My worst was setting a cigar down while chopping some wood for a campfire, it was nearly dark, went to pick it up, dropped it, picked it back up and stuck the lit end right in my mouth. Oh, and yes, I was drinking, which helped the burn considerably. Apply liberal (or is it socialist) amounts of beer immediately!

Guess I'm not the only one who's a klutz. Did it just the other day but luckily just the fire went flying.

Thread has gone from drops to burns so I'll fess up. When I was a kid I took one of my Dad's cigars and was smoking it in the bathroom. Mother knocks on the door, to see what's taking so long, so I shoved the cigar into the tiolet between my legs. Done this with cigarettes, no problem, but the cigar being larger made contact with the cherry right on the tip of my johnson.
