Packing definitely takes some practice (jiunn?), but the satisfaction that comes with that first bowl that burns all the way down on one relight is worth it. Keep at it, you'll develop a feel based on how your bowl smokes that will guide your hand...just remember that loose is better than tight (jiunn?).

Do you let tobacco from a freshly opened tin dry a lil bit?

Hmmm. From my limited time hittin the pipe, you dont want it to dry up. You want it nice n moist. Or else it'll be like hittin sand paper (jo jo?)

That depends on the tobacco. A good test is to pinch the tobacco between your fingers, if it stays clumped then it's too wet, if it holds together slightly and falls apart it's good. Some companies are notorious for using additives to keep the tobacco from drying out quickly, McClellands comes to mind, and they need significant drying. Generally speaking though, a bit of drying time won't hurt any tobacco...you could even try packing the bowl and letting it sit like that for 30-40 minutes. There are many different ways to go about it, you'll find what works best for you.
Do you mean like sniff a horse up your nose like tobacco snuff? Or like make a porno in where you kill the horse and then show your rich friends in a private showing?

I was on a good run with people spelling my name right. You just stopped that roll. ok ok I'll pipe down. I think
Well July, or was it May, as soon as you get a normal name I'll be happy to spell it correctly.
It's easy. Jiunn like the month. Semi funny story. When I first started my first job, now one of my good friends, he e-mailed me in the beginning of the job (haven't met me yet) and he asked me to lunch using alot of those emoticons and smiley faces. I said yes b/c I thought wow, what a nice guy. He saw me and the first thing he said was "dude, thought you were a hot Asian chick." I googled "jiunn" and yea, two girls popped out. I'm having a DPG blue exquisito that Boyd gave me right now.

I reallllllly like reading about the tobaccos.. Only problem is I also like ordering the tobaccos.
That's my problem as well; everytime I go online to educate my dumb self about more tobacco's, my wallet magically jumps out of my pocket and starts entering my CC numbers onto an order form. It's a vicious habit.
