Wooden Ashtray

I posted a couple days ago about a wooden ashtray I made, and have had a few people request I put a picture up.
Well, here is the picture LOL

I did this more as an experiment than anything else... I personally would like it to be a bit bigger, but I used what I had on hand at the time.
Oh, and for anyone that is interested, the wood is Avocado which is sold as firewood in SoCal.

Yes... it has about 5 coats of polyurethane... I wouldn't recommend mashing a cigarette into it, but catching a cigar ash it should hold up just fine.
I've tried carving before.... not my cup of tea.
I made this on my lathe, I do a lot of turning and this took me about 30 minutes to make minus the finish.
Yes... I've been in the Navy now for just over 16 years.
