Yeast infections are also known as fungal infections and can happen to men, women, children, commonly called thrush if it occurs in the mouth and throat. For the record, there are plenty of free blog sites (I maintain one on Wordpress, for that matter) that would allow you the same freedom (and then some) to post your ramblings there. I would not be surprised if even gained quite an audience, giving you some of the participation you have bemoaned lacking here.0

I believe that the sound of you screaming in space would be possible to be heard. Sound is a frequency, and it would have to have a medium on which to travel. If space were truly a vacuum then light would not be able to travel, because there would be no medium for the sound waves to travel on. So I think since light travels across space, then sound would travel in space as well.RBeckom:In space, they say no one can here you scream, I wonder.

SETI is listening for radio waves, not sound waves. The 2 are completely different things.
Sound waves are "acoustic waves" and longitudinal.
Sound waves travel at 1,126 ft per second "in a vacuum" and that speed changes with the ambient conditions.
It is interesting that scientists measure the baseline speed of sound in a vacuum.
Radio waves are transverse and elecromagnetic and travel at the speed of light. 186282 miles per second.0 -
