    thats a damn good smoke.

its no OpusX but its still good.
much like the opus it is a bit hyped up, a bit rare, and at times, overpriced.

Let's revive this thread a little. I didn't read all 5 pages, but I read through parts of the first 3.

The cigars I haven't heard anything bad about are:
    MOW Ruination
    A Fernandez Signature
    Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real
    Nording
    any of the Oliva's
5 Vegas Relic (only 5 Vegas I like)
    Gurkha Master Select

Come on Kuzi, give me the negatives, haha!

i have yet to smoke some of those. i have most of them in the humidor though. ill leave out the ones i havent sparked up.

RyJ Reserva Real. i used to like them when i started smoking cigars about 3 years ago. I stopped buying them because they were less flavorful than many other cigars. I did like it better than the vintage but still not enough to keep buying them.

Nording: i gave it an 8.3 in my catalog. it had a bunch of canoeing and other burn issues.

    any of the Oliva's
I dont like the O at all. i cant even finish one.

    Gurkha Master Select
its a gurkha. to me, that used to mean a high flavor high quality stick.
as of late that means that it has a very specific blending style. it isnt bad but it is there in every gurkha. I feel that the Master select, though a good cigar, is the most representative and pinnacle of this blending style (followed closely by the regent)

No, but the thread said to name cigars you have never HEARD anything bad about. I've had the Ruination, RyJ, Oliva O, V, and G, and the 5 Vegas. I have the rest in a humidor (I'll have the A Fernandez monday or tuesday)

I'll vouch for the A fernandez signature, and the Gurkha master select. Never have tried a nording or a 5 Vegal Relic, not that I remember.

Nub Maduro. Kinda unfair it's only been out a few weeks though. I'll also throw in La Herencia Cubana.

there was a ton of hype from this cigar but it did not deliver in my opinion. it wasnt bad but it isnt the best nub. it isnt complex and for the price point there are higher quality sticks that are far more enjoyable.

I have to say that after the responses of the guys around the table at the herf when this thing came out, I won't be trying one. I wasn't a fan of the regular nub, and the most that one got smoked was about an inch.

Loved the flavor of the stick, but I had construction issues with the 5 Vegas Relic. Hoping it was just a bad stick though.

The only stick on this list that I have tried is the A Fernandez Signature. (and a couple oliva's).
And the only complaint I have about that stick is that it was a pepper bomb for the first inch
So much pepper that I was almost going to put it down. Im glad I waited because it developed into one great cigar! So great, I have a bunch more coming in.

Just kind of glanced at the 6 pages and not positive no one already said it but I really enjoy Don Pepin Garcia's Cuban Classic and Series JJ.

didn't like it, at all. All I got out of it was ash, and it couldn't hold an ash for more than an inch. I really thought I was smoking a ccom purple label.

hopefully it was a bad stick, because I really have heard nothing but good things otherwise.
