What's up Seagarlover, and yes that is a plug, with the chisel tip I like to punch it and let the smoke hit the upper part of my mouth, for some reason the smoke is cooler when it hits the top. Just my opinion. And it's a great smoke, I just bought a box of 12 for 49.00. Give it a try.
Rudy, it was pretty damn good for a first shot. Didn't pull as easily as I hoped but I figure a little slower for a little longer and it'll be fine. Made up a Carolina sauce and some blue cheese coleslaw for it and it turned out pretty tasty. My daughters, 7 & 6, had 2 sandwiches each.
URGENT....URGENT... I had to get your attention, I posted this a few months ago, another CGAR smoker on our site was asking how to repair your smoke when it starts to come undone, or tear, anyway, I posted this picture of the Vegtable glue used when our CGARS are first rolled, I use this at least 2-3 times a month, some smokes are not always as they should be, we all know this to be true, so if U want to save your not so cheap smoke then I urge U to purchase this glue, it is 100% Vegtable Glue like I said same stuff the rollers have on the table when they complete the roll, i'm not sure but I think the company is BC Specialist I found the site : https://www.bcspecialties.com it's around $5-8 or so. buy it, U will save some great smokes, It's $5.95 I just pulled up the site
what U do is U
hold the tip off the wrapper that is starting to become undone you hold it and put a good amount of the glue all around the edges and push it down and brush the outside let dry for 5 min and smoke it up
Yesterday I went to the beach (Westport) with the family and took some coronas to enjoy. I started off with a MOWPA, followed by JF Origen Original and finished with a 5Vegas A. The smokes were good, but the damn wind sure burned them fast.
