Tim/Alex/etc... The full bodied sampler is ringing up wrong.

The description says the sampler is under $50, but it's listed and rings up at $110.

Well... it corrected when I logged into the site, saying that as a COTMC member I'm saving $65. But it looks like it's showing up as full price otherwise.

If you use the e-mail send out it will take you to the proper page. If you just go through the site it will bring up the original page at $110. Here try this link...

hes been around for a while. geezz...
this does show how much they interject here though. frankly i think they are doing the right thing. i like how this forum is more self moderated than anything else.
i guess that also shows how awesome we are.

I really don't want to hijack this thread but, since we now have a moderator, and if he's keeping a fairly close eye on these boards, do ya suppose we might be able to get him to do something about the difficulty a number of us have with the programming (for lack of a better term) requirements when we want to post a photo or a link, etc?

There are a lot of us who aren't IT literate and we don't have to do all that extra crap on other forums. Just saying.

that HTML stuff has to do more with the underlying coding of the forum itself; mods can only edit/lock posts, and maybe ban some IP's - but the underlying code requires a specialist.

I guess I was hoping the moderator might have enough 'pull' to cause some improvement in this regard. Dream on, huh?

Ok, Grizzled Vets what say you on this sampler. I know its all a matter of personal opinion but Id like to hear what you have to say about the core, the JDN the uppercut and the daytona. Ive tried the ruination and the miami and I keep those in my rotation, they are in my power range. Where as sticks like the punisher and cuba libre one are not. the america is ok but pushing that strength ceiling

The Daytona is firmly enough in the medium-strength category that it almost doesn't fit into this sampler.

The CAO America is a solid medium-full.

The Dark Corojo, in my opinion, is the strength bomb in this sampler. But if you regularly smoke the Ruination, I think you'll be fine.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best samplers CCom has put up in awhile.

The CAO suprised me I dont know if it was my system or the stick but the ONE I smoked of these was stronger than I was expecting. I told Andy D that they really have had some great deals on some great sticks here lately. Looking forward to more.. Not sure my bank account can handle all this madness. Honestly, I think this is one of the best samplers CCom has put up in awhile.

Just to clarify, Jim has been an employee of Cigar.com for a long time.  Started on the phones, but quickly worked his way into our marketing department.  He'll be helping out from time to time on here when he can.

We're a small group of employees who focus first and foremost on customer service.  We have a lot of customers, so frankly we have our hand's full!  We look at you guys as our street team of sorts, and we like to keep this forum independent and self governed.  Just like our forefathers would have wanted it: for the people, by the people.  We trust you guys, you're all adults (well except for Rich W) and we'd rather let you enjoy the freedoms of a small, close knit forum without the constant surveillance or meddling of big brother.  Sure we'll butt in now and then, but really - this is yours.

Why don't you guys start a thread of suggested improvments to the forum?  That would be a great way to centralize your suggestions and we can slowly (very slowly) start working on some of it.  What say you?

    Thanks for being here,

     Timb
