Good find; seems the country has been split, I'd guess along party lines, for quite awhile on this issue. Still, despite the polls, the numbers stay the same - you can tax the rich all you want, but even if you confiscate 100% of profits, there's not enough to even pay off this year's budget deficit.
Since almost half of earners already do not pay any income taxes it is no wonder the numbers are where they are. They seem to think that as long as it is somebody else it is alright. The problem is the Pols get to decide who is "rich".
