Feeling Sad

Just found out my grandmother passed away. I was totally caught off guard. Just talked to her last week and she sounded fine. My grandfather has all the medical conditions and Alzheimers. I thought the call was about him and just can't believe it. They were moving back to Iowa to be close to family so my grandma could get help with grandpa. She just recently quit working and was full of energy.

My wife lost her grandmother this year as well. Our grandmothers were the same age. So far this year sucks.

My grandma played a huge roll in my life growing up. I miss her very much.

my mom has demintia in a nursing home and 84, her mom died at 83 in 1976, dad died in 2002 the day before my birthday, keep expecting the call for her but the good lord takes them when he is ready,stay strong and remember the memories bro! prayers sent! jj

Sorry to hear about that, I actually just got home from lifting my grandmother off of the floor, she fell in her closet and was crying, it broke my heart when I saw her. Thank God my mother was with her

Grandma's are the best thing in the world imo. Sorry for your loss. It's very hard when it's out of the blue like that but she's in a better place now.
