Ellicottville NY

CanadianCanadian Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 54
I am heading to Ellicottville NY in a few weeks for a weekend of skiing with my lovely wife. Can anyone advise of any B & M's or cigar bars in the area that I could visit. As a Canadian my smoking options are limited and being from Ontario, we can't smoke in-doors in any business, so anytime I am out of province I like to try to take advantage.

Cheers

    Hello!
That's ironic, I'm heading there as well with my family this Wednesday. I would VERY much recommend Smokin Joes which is just outside of buffalo I think. This is a bit of a hike but its worth it. It has the largest walk in humidor in All of Western New York!  Its best to stop in on your way to Ellicottville rather than when your coming back to Canada, as on the way back it takes longer to get to. You've never seen selection like this, you'll mess your pants when you walk in. Just a few warnings though. Make sure you got lots of cash on you for smokes...whatever you max budget is, bring that and try to bring extra. I'm sure you'll be using it all. Also, every time you grab a cigar make sure your taking a bar code sticker as well for the cashier to scan. Almost every opened cigar box or cigar display has a little clear envelop in front of it with stickers and when you take a cigar you have to take a little sticker. Even if its the same brand, just a difference size, you'll probably have to get a separate sticker for it. This is so the cashier can scan the bar code and that's how he knows the price. I had to learn this the hard way. I chose like 20 singles got up to the front and the guy asked me where the stickers were. STICKERS? Anyways that guy was kind of an ass! If you see a tall guy, he's like 6'5 or something, that's Jason the Manager, decent guy! Even if you buy your cigars somewhere else, you gotta see this store, its MASSIVE!
I hope this helps. Have fun on those slops. And get there early, the weekend is a zoo at Holiday Valley.

    -Regards and Long Ashes!

I'm not exactly how far it would be from Amherst, outside of Buffalo, but on Sheridan Ave. (Dr.?) there is a great bar called Alternative Brews. They sell cigars and you can smoke your own if you have them.

On the weekends, they have some great live bands.

You can smoke in the casino in Salamanca.

Is it 2293 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn or 4834 Indian Hill Road, Lewiston
