image This 4 7/8×50 cigar hails from Cuba, wrapped in a medium brown satin wrapper with minimal veins, invisible seams, a soft tobacco aroma and a slight box press with rounded corners. It has a very soft squishy feel with random soft spots throughout. First light reveals a very snug draw but smokable, a decent amount of smoke output with soft slightly sweet and nutty tobacco flavors. Body is mild-medium and the finish is very long and oily, leaving a slick in my mouth. The first third is medium bodied with nutty, woody tobacco flavors. There’s an oily sweetness on the draw and a bit of pepper on the finish. Draw is snug but working just fine. Smoke output is decent, burn is almost razor sharp. 20 min in at the start of the 2nd third, the ash fell off and the draw opened way up, giving a perfect resistance with much more smoke and fuller body flavors. The last third transitions to a creamy, oily, sweet roasted coffee flavor with a deep long finish. Ending at 55 min this was a great smoking experience! http://cigarobsession.com/cigar-reviews/ramon-allones-specially-selected-cigar-review/

Great review. I just had this cigar a few weeks ago and I also got the soft nutty and sweet flavors. This cigar went great with a glass of vinsanto and a soak in the hot tub.

One of my personal favorites. The wrapper of the stick in the picture must be the roughest wrapper on one of these that I have seen. They are usually silky smooth with very little or no viens. Huh. Tasty, tasty sticks, but you have to mortgage your first born to be able to smoke them up here. You are looking at a minimum of $36 for that stick here.
