    PsychoSJG:
At the MOW Event at CFest, I saw this old man put his whole cigar and got his slobber all over the damn stick. I was grossed out. Can anyone think of a reason to cover your cigar in saliva before lighting it?
There is a book that is considered the 'Aficionado' of Cuban cigars written by Min Ron Nee... He states in his book that he sometimes douses his cigars completely in water before smoking to help with burn...

He's supposed to be some guru, but I don't know, that just sounds dumb

having RH too high can mess with a burn, so how does dunking it like a doughnut in your morning coffee help the burn? Idk many, the cigar world has some crazy tactics

I once saw a guy step outside, grab a huge handful of snow, and then pack it around his cigar. I asked him what the heck he was doing and he said cigars smoke better when they are damp. I just said "Oh." and then turned away. Mind you, this is the same B&M as the one where the guy slobbered before using the community cutter...
