La Casita Criolla

Pete Johnson made this announcement on facebook:

"Okay, I can't keep it a secret any longer. My new brand La Casita Criolla is made with the following tobacco. 100% Conn. broadleaf."

He noted that he considers the broadleaf to be a maduro (but didn't clarify whether it was maduro in color or fermentation). This will be a regular production cigar, which sounds great for people like me who can't go chasing down every limited release. This sounds exciting if it's going to be a "triple maduro" type of cigar.

I was chatting with Hayblet about this... this is the only time I'm hyped to try a TAT.

I'm not a Tat-ho by any means, but this cigar sounds delicious.

Dude I hate his pricing structure. Not a ton of value IMHO

When you say pricing structure, are you referring to all the expensive limited production blends?

Not just that but the cost of his cigars in general.
Though the limited blends are kind worn out

Definitely looking forward to trying this one, but I also really am looking forward to Fausto, Avion, and the regular production Tat Black PLs.

Also here's some more info on LCC from Pete:

"You'll get strength nuances throughout the cigar and the smaller sizes are a bit more spicy and concentrated but again not really a complex cigar. The largest size is going to be under $7.

    Sizes are.
    HCB 5 1/8 x 42
    HCBC 5 5/8 x 46
    HCBF 6 1/2 x 48

All wet packed and rustic looking. This is old school cigar making.
The name La Casita Criolla ( little native house ) fits the cigar perfectly."

Frankly, I am stoked about the sizes, the pricing, and the blend.
