They waited to see the rest of our picks.....very wise, too bad all the winners were already chosen, lol.......Looks like a good game folks. The winner will be sent cigars from 6 players, the 2nd place person will get sticks from 4 players. 12 total participants. Good luck to all and let the Bowl Season begin!!!!!
As an aside, I love Bowl Season.....love it. Everytime I hear about getting a playoff and getting rid of the BCS (thus eliminating a good amout of Bowls) or how there are toop many Bowls----I cry shenanigans. While its not quite as exciting or explosive, seeing some 7-4 teams from a mid major, or a couple of 9 wins teams from weak conferences play are usually damn good games and its these kids freakin super bowl game....change nothing NCAA, of course they wont anyway cause they make too much money this way (which is all they reallyu care about), but still.

Agreed, I love bowl season also. I would sit and watch every game if I could. I would much rather watch College ball then a pro game anytime. I think college kids play with heart, and not for a paycheck. Should be a fun season!

I love bowl season as well, but I do hate the BCS with a passion!! Yes we get tons of bowl games, and some teams upset other bigger named schools, but look at march madness. You are actually giving a small school a chance to win it all. See Butler last year in the finals, how exciting was that!! Going through a playoff is much better IMO, that way everyone has a chance to win. Just because one team had a bad beat one week does not mean they should be ruled out to play for the NC ya know.
Teams like Boise State, TCU, yes they play in a crap conference, but did you know that these schools try every year to schedule with teams like Florida, LSU, Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, OU, or any big school and they decline. Teams like Boise even offers to play away from home and are shot down. Thats why they cannot get to the championship game. Now I can see the case for the other big schools as well. They dont get anything extra for winning, so its a lose lose situation for them either way. But thats because of the BCS system its a lose lose situation for them. So I'm not blaming these bigger schools for declining.
Did you also know that big schools, texas, Ohio St, Florida, Bama, LSU, Oregon..etc, etc..., pay schools like Jacksonville state, Georgia State, Portland State, etc, etc, $300K and up to come and play them at home. Just go back and look at some score, those are the scores you see that are 65-3 and 79-7.
Also, just for example, some players, lets use AJ Green from Georgia who are playing Central Florida. Why should he give it his all when he knows hes getting drafted in the first round. Why should he risk injury, which can cost him millions? Just using him as an example, nothing against AJ, cause he is a great player. (Not saying it will happen, but just keep an eye out for players who are for sure to be drafted in the 1st round or so, playing in no-name bowl games.)
Bottom line.....its about money. (to the "schools")
Some people did not pick tie breaker points for the 2 games. Now the rules stated all this had to be done by the 18th. Should they still be allowed to pick a score or what? I dont want to be the "iron fist" guy, but I dont want shenanigans from not following the original rules either----as we had in the football pick game......thoughts people?
In more score realted news, the first day of multiple games are overBobbo & Bandy both have 3JZ, KingJK, Zeebra, Firetruck, Undulc have 2Sirfoster, Vulchor, RobbyRas, RedTail have 1Dennis-----we wont discuss at this moment;)

I say let those that did not pick the tie breaker stay in but they have to pick the points within the next 24 hours or something like that. Maybe also a penalty of some sort since they didn't follow the rules. Maybe something like thay have to send each one of us that did follow the rules a OpusX or something.
Seriously, if tehy can get their points in soon I say ok.
