Setting up my beads

I just got my humidity beads today and I was wondering what the best way to get them started is? I know you can spray them or place an open dish of distilled water next to them but I wanted to know if there is one way better then another.

They say that puttng them in a closed container with the beads and distilled water letting the beads absorb the moister makes them last longer and keeps them from cracking i just put water on mine and i have had them for a good while

i have them in a box in my humidor... so i just dump a bit of distilled on em. i pour into the cap of the jug then from there on to the beads.
since its so hot and humid here in ohio i would only have about 20%-30% of them clear. other than that, there is almost no set up

I will go ahead and do it like that. They are for my fridgidor so do I have to do anything special since its for a larger area or are they a charge and go type thing?
