Wine Fridge Humidor

Hey guys,

My first post to these forums.  Any help would be great.

I am currently converting a Haier thermoelectric wine fridge to a humidor and want to install a temperature controller.  I currently use a Johnson A419 on my keg fridge, and am looking to use the same on the fridgador.  My question is, where is the best place to install the probe?  I was thinking of routing it through the drain hole, but then where should I install it in the fridge?  Or is there a better way to route?

Also, the fridge says thermoelectric, but there is a drip tray and drain hole.  I currently use a smaller vinotemp, and it does not have any condensation problems, and no tray.  Is there a good way to deal with dripping?

Thanks guys, any tips/tricks/how-to's would be great.

Austin

Welcome to the forums. Can't answer your question regarding the temperature controller, but may be able to help you with the potential dripping. I've read from other guys that uses Vinotemps that they plug up the drain hole and put in a tray of dry beads to soak up any dripping.
