Tell me about this humidor...

Good day gentlemen...and ladies if there are any,
This is my first post and I wanted to ask a question. My father gave me a few humidors when he stopped smoking cigars and I've kind of started up as a back burner hobby. I live in Nashville so I am planning on supporting CAO, even if I only smoke one every week or so. My question is simple..take a look at the pictures below and if you have information about this humidor..what it's worth, if it was part of a sample? etc..then let me know. I will probably be looking to trade it for a CAO humidor a little later. Thanks for your time and God Bless!

And why so much loyalty towards CAO just because of where you live? It's a good brand, but it's just one brand out of many good ones out there; no reason to limit yourself just to their cigars/humidors. I just don't understand the concept of supporting only one cigar manuf. based on some conception of geography

1) Cigars aren't like auto's, tools, or appliances - most who enjoy cigars don't base their loyalities on regions. Most who enjoy cigars gravitate to particular brands based on what their palate dictates/what they like, not the cigar manuf.'s HQ. The reason you're hearing so much from us about this is because it's more than a little strange to be drawn to a particular brand based on where they're located - the general advice is to smoke what appeals to your palate, not the HQ of the manuf. (which few of us ever pay much attention to). You may find you don't care for many of CAO's lines, so don't go buying a humidor full of smokes you may not like - try a few samplers before pulling the trigger on boxes.
2) Ratings mean nothing. Cigars are like wine or art - the only thing that matters is what you like. Not ratings, not price, not reputation - your palate should dictate what you stock your humidor with. To do any differently is to be so pretentious that you miss the entire point behind cigars. It's a promo for Camacho cigars, but it makes some very good points, namely, that you should follow what you like, not what someone else tells you to like
3) Don't judge a manufacturer based on a single stick - I generally don't like 5 Vegas Classic, but I'm very fond of 5 Vegas Gold; I don't care for Oliva's Series V, but I love their Nubs and Connecticut Reserve. There's so much variety in cigar lines, that you'll often find yourself pulled to cigars by their body/taste, not who the manfacturer is (again, cigars aren't like auto's or applicances - brands really don't mean much of anything)
Anyway, I've gone on long enough - just experiment! If you don't like a particular cigar, don't write off the manufacturer, just try a different type!
For the ratings, I will agree to disagree. Like a road and track magazine, I feel the experts in this business know what they are doing. I will say that it is the individuals palate that will ultimately decide which stick to smoke..but after reading reviews on this website, in magazines etc..I will certainly steer clear of some certain brands and will try others because of their review.
Also, to answer another above post, I have recently e-mailed an individual from the National Cigar museum to see if they can assist me with the humidor.

2) Sherlock makes a good point here. I know we are all encouraging him to try different sticks because we know how important it is to diversify your palate, but I'm confident that he will indeed expand his palate beyond C.A.O. It goes to what he already pointed out - sometimes, you just want to support what's in your backyard - doesn't mean you have to do it to the exclusion of everything else, but you still represent them. I love my local b&m, and I rep them, buy from them, and support them wholeheartedly. Do they have the best selection or prices? No, they really don't - the point is, they're MY local shop and I feel like home when I go there. So despite the fact that I buy from other shops, as well as online (HAIL THE BEARD!), I still call THAT place "My Cigar Shop". I'm sure a lot of you guys know what I'm saying here...
Not sure why that caused some consternation. You did say you'd have a CAO humi and then one for other sticks. And who cares what the hell you smoke and why? The one thing I liked about this forum was a lack of juding others about their tastes and choices. Hope that isn't changing.

I'm fairly certain it is not a Cuban made humidor..Actually, I think it was purchased from a large cigar store in Statesville NC, the name of which I won't mention because it's a competitor with cigar.com. So, I have found most of the answers, probably just a limited run of sample cigars + humidor specials that my dad happened upon.
