That's just the way it goes with forums, I've been there myself, you go from posting everyday and interacting with a lot of people and then one day you just stop going. I can't say why this is, but such is life.
Well, what are those of us who got left behind to do? I feel like a jilted wife or something. I woulda appreciated some closure, dammit. Ok, I saw we all meet in Madison, pick up a couple of cases of Miller Lite, and track Lassy down. He was our voice of inappropriateness.
Well, we can only hope all is well with the both of them, and maybe they'll come back to us soon.
Agreed, Lassy's been gone for a while I think. He may not be back. Let's hope Duty is just all hopped up on goofballs because of the foot and makes a triumphant return post haste.
Yeah Lassy has been gone since Halloween, he didn't come through on a a PIF, I hope he is at least ok. I noticed yesterday that rusirius has been off for a while too but its the holidays maybe a few people will show back up.
Just need to post this one I got home last night to a package from Jet (Chief)...the Oliva V Maduros he generously shared came in as promised...they look sooo good, I can't wait to light one up...plus he added a few extras including an RP Nording wich I haven't tried but have been interested in. THANKS Jet...I just hope my end of the trade and PIF I sent can equal what you sent.
AFAIK, nobody knows where Lassy ran off to, or why. He just up and left us. He's missed.
I think doody will be back. He's probably rehabbing the foot or something.
Yeah I PM'd duty Joe a while ago. He's on the mend and lurking, sort of keeping up with us, I know he will be back to chat soon.. ( I miss the guy ) And lassy, I have no idea.. Miss that guy too.
Yesterday was awesome. Besides the gorgeous Ashton COTMC package, I found on my porch a sweet selection of sticks from j0z3r for PIF and from rdnstn for F&G. Both guys sent way more, and better, sticks than the rules call for. Thanks guys.
Between the 3 boxes, I had to make room to fit 18 new cigar into the humidors.

LOL... I just caught up to this thread in my reading... thanks, everybody
Incidentally, I've got a boatload of leftover narcotic painkillers. It's like the original Vicodin (Rush Limbaugh's favorite), but 1.5x as strong. I took two at one time... great stuff! Who wants to bee my mooch?
I got home to a terrific F&G package from our ol' buddy, gmill. Sit back, chilluns, whilst I tell you a story:
Fuente Anejo #48 (which I've never had)
Fuente Don Carlos Dbl. Robusto (which I've never had in this size, but love)
H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon (which I love)
Macanudo 1968 Robusto (which I've never had)
I suppose it's possible to do better than that, gm, but it wouldn't be easy. I mean, seriously, people, just try to send me a better package than that. (No, seriously. Try.)
OK, no fighting boys. In the interest of peace on the forum I will act as a neutral third party. All packages can be sent to me for further distribution.
Back on the business side of things...I received my end of a trade with Kaspera79 today. He came through on the agreed trade and all is good.
Thanks kas, I do in fact enjoy the La Aurora 1495/1994 quite a bit, enough to horde what I felt was a good amount, so thanks for throwing that one in as well.
Received my package from scrambler yesterday for the fun and games trade and even though scrambler is known as a good trader he came through with a very nice package including a stick I am very excited to try that I have never had. Awesome trader
Just got my end of a trade with BASS, Holy Jumping Jesus, it was like porn for the cigar lover. Undeniably one hell of a trader!! He got all the cigars ive been wanting to try and a few i thought i would only see online but never be able to buy, Thanks Brian!!
I also got my end of a the make a wish pass today from bbc020. Thanks very much Brandon. In addition to the three Oliva Series O Maduro's he added a Sol Cubano Connetitcut, and a Padron 1926 Anniversary No.9 !!. Once again Brandon has established himself as a good trader and stand up guy. Today was a good cigar day.

Phew! Glad to hear those sticks finally arrived. I was beginning to think that the declared value of $5 caught some poor postal worker's attention and they went all klepto on me.

That's hillarious brandon. I always mark my packages as Ornaments of some kind. I have this mental picture of a Postie or a Customs Agent working away while happily smoking one of the sticks from my package. I believe that most people are trustworthy, and I wouldn't even worry about it too much if it happened to a package I was expecting. Something about waiting for a package to arrive to someone I have committed to send sticks out to, always makes me more nervous then when I am waitng for my order/trade to arrive. Thanks again Brandon...looking forward to one of the Oliva's.
Just got my end of the trade BadAndy. Even though he is suffering through a cigar "period of reflection" or restriction as he put it, he is still one helluva swelluva trader. He sent me a huge asortment of sticks and i have only tried one of them, the rest are new...SWEET!! Thanks again Andy!
Got my pif pack from Stoogee today, and hot damn is it a sweet one. Steve, dude, 2 VSG robustos? That's more awesome than I have words to describe, thanks a lot.

Oh Really ?? Well Joe, in case you forgot the trade you sent my way was over the top.. Gents, along with the Sherpas Joe and I traded, he sent A Cusano C10, a Nording, a Patel Honduran Classic ( a private label cigar ) that can only be gotten from one source, and an H Upmann from the humidor from his uncle Fidel. That one is a special occasion cigar for certain.. Joe I owe you one.. that is more than generous, and "thank you " is an understatement..

Kas I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about...I would never involve myself in such obviously illegal activities as importing cigars from Cuba or passing them around to other citizens...you must have me mistaken. nudge nudge, wink wink. All kidding aside, you owe me nothing and thank you is perfectly sufficient, all in due course my friend. Enjoy them.
