Has anyone here tried royal Hawaiian rum flavored cigars or island prince cigars? I had a few of those on my honeymoon in June I loved the royal Hawaiian but did not care much for the island prince. Any thoughts or comments on these if you have tried them?

I don't remember the name, but the Hawaiian cigars that all the tobacco is grown in Hawaii were pretty mediocre. I know they were definately not worth the price. There were some other ones in plastic tubos that were flavored, they were absolutely horrible. But like I said, I don't remember the names of any of them. Where at in Hawaii did you get them?

yes the ones in plastic tubes of which you speak are the royal Hawaiian, nasty except the rum....they had coffee vanilla...etc... But I fully enjoyed the rum ones! The island prince was very mediocre indeed, best thing about em was the wooden case they came in. I use it for short travels as it holds 3 sticks. I got them in Maui that was where we were the first week. The next week we were in Kauai and I could not find them as easily there.

Ive tried all the flavored hula girl brand ones, and was OK I guess, Im not really a flavored cigar kind of guy. The royal hawaiians too, I think they are more of a tourist item. I picked em up at the airport cuz i was curious, the local cigars stores don't carry em i think.... More of a tourist thing I guess, ..... but they weren't unsmokable. http://www.royalhawaiiancigars.com/ http://www.hulagirlthestore.com/
