i got to the point quickly where my humidors are full. so when i want to put a cigar or two in there i will only buy cigars that i want to try or that i know are good. Ive stopped looking for that "everyday" cigar because i know that i dont smoke everyday. every cigar i have is a special occasion. every cigar that i own should live up to that occasion.
since i did a ton of trades, games, PIF's, etc. i have many singles. i have very few doubles, and even fewer multiples.
all this tells me is that i need to smoke more often.
... that IS my new years resolution.
And I also want to smoke a lot more. It bothers me that I'm only smoking one a week. I hate winter...
This summer I will be smoking cigars that were purchased last spring, and I hope to be able to keep that rotation of 1 year old cigars. Having said that, I have smoked all of the Perdomo sample pack I got last fall, as well as some other sticks that I wanted to try.
In short, I have no system, but the lack of a system works for me.
I kinda kept buying to the point were I have so many they'll age all by themselves.
I usually put a few of a recent purchase in my main humi, the rest go into the coolerdor. Then when I'm rotating stuff later I usually get a nice surprise when I find something I forgot I had.
I'm totally not tyring to de-rail this, but since it was brought up, I have to ask. Ozzie (and anyone else of course), in a casino, I've heard that the air quality is really bad and is not recommended that people with asthma (that's me) stay in them for very long. But I'm a gambling man, and I get jonesin for some poker and would one day like to hit up some casinos, but I want to get an idea of what I might need to prepare myself for. So, how did you feel the air qaulity was?
Clever, it didn't even cross my mind. Thanks!!
What? I didn't say I had asthma, I said I'm an "ass man"... yeah, that's it... ha!
Ah the good ol' days. Many a time would I hang out at a "friends" house after work and the place would look like a fog had settled inside. The life of an "aspiring" musician...
Thanks fellas!!
And your step daughter's got some sweet pipes on her! I mean that in the most respectful way! Seriously!! Holy Talent Batman! Amazing!!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some kickass vids to watch... be back in a few.
