I'm not a whisky guy... But I LOVE Irish coffee. Suggestions for a reasonably priced quality Irish whisky? Thanks in advance guys!

Jameson black barrel. For a cheaper Irish whiskey Paddy's is delightful

Jameson...
dollar shots on happy hour at the neighborhood bar FTW Yeahhhhh!!!! -
If you are putting it in coffee, buy whatever is on sale. Personally I like 2 Gingers, Bushmills, Tulamore Dew, etc

Liquor stores are closed.

Hmmmmm I didn't see that at my liquor store. That looks cool too

Very nice Chaos! You also might consider Redbreast Irish whiskey. They are scotch whiskey if memory serves right, so a bit different by what you bought but I've heard very good things. They've got their entry level cheap stuff but they also have gotten some very high accolades about their higher end single malt old stuff.

I keep seeing that at my store Brian, love the bottle but have been wary since I hate to buy something that looks cool just to find out its a gimmick.Brianak: -
Lol I've also seen a few of different vintages of a brand called "The Irishman"..... Tempted just because that's what I'm known as here lol.

Bushmills is the better of the two me thinks.

Bushmills, Tulla, and a new one I've been hooked on is Donegal.
-
Ill have to look for those other two at my liquor store.
Im willing to try anything for a good quality whisky for my Irish Coffee.

Bushmills is Protestant so if your a Irish guy stay away

Im Scottish! lol plus booze doesn't sway depending on its religious beliefs for me. -
For sipping, my recommendations: Tullamore Dew 10 Year - 4 Cask, Teeling Rum Cask Finished, The Irishman (any reserve), Knappogue Castle.

Ive never been much of a liquor sipper... lol but ill check them out and see if that's something I can change.

They're soft (smooth) and complex enough to warrant sipping and just pricey enough (all under $50) to justify sipping and not mixing.
