Okay… the Lancero Journey begins

Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 430
For the last 20 years or so I've been a pretty boring smoker I guess… didn't even know there was a Lancero craze… I mostly smoke larger ring gauges. I'm only now trying to come up to speed with some of the new brands, boutique smokes and reading reviews and forums. So after spending a lot of time here I went down to my local and picked up a few Lanceros to get started; La Aurora 107, CyB and smaller ring gauge smokes by Tatuaje, Padron and La Pallina… and since you have encouraged others to ask Ccom for special consideration I went ahead and sent out an email and Jamie Oliver agreed to put together a 12 cigar sampler for me consisting of:

Gran Habano #1 Conn. Lancero
H. Upmann Sun Grown Lancero
Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta No. 13
Pepin Garcia Blue Lancero
La Herencia Cub. CORE Lancero
My Father No. 4
Pinar Del Rio Clasico Lancero
Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Lancero
San Lotano MADURO Lancero
Oliva Serie 'V' Lancero
Trinidad Reserve Lancero
PDR Habano Sun Grown Lancero

I'm looking forward to it and want to thank folks here for the input that brought me here.

That sounds like a great sampler...wonder if they would consider listing on their sampler page.

I totally agree! If the price is reasonable I'd like to try a bunch of those. Love that Oliva!

Prepare to fall in love and then be prepared to be frustrated that every cigar doesn't come in a lancero....

Can you PM the price please? I may have to get one of those. I've had the MF 4 and it's a great smoke in that vitola. Curious how that V and those others stack up too. Thanks.

I didn't know that LHC CORE came in a lancero format... may have to try that. I find the normal CORE lineup very disappointing.
