This was me last week:

It was awesome to get away. The wife and I headed to the Miami area to soak up some sun before the cold winter here in Michigan. My favorite cigar of the week was when I was walking through the ocean in the evening. The water was perfectly warm and a gentle breeze made the walk all the more enjoyable. I've had better cigars, but the ambiance made this one perfect.
Anyone else been somewhere fun lately?

Sounds nice. Is that a Padilla Miami in the pic? How fitting if it is.0

What part of Michigan. I was raised in the Detroit area. I also lived in the Grayling/Roscommon Metroplex for a number of years. Wife's family is from Posen (NW of Alpena) and we met at college in Flint (Kettering University)0

I'm heading for the outer banks next thursday for a long weekend and a wedding along the ocean. Can't wait to have a nice stick to celebrate the occasion by the beach.0

I'm heading up into Oklahoma for the first weekend in Oct. to hit the river doing some canoeing and drinking and SMOKING!0

Gambling? I'm planning a trip up there myself to hit the casinos.PuroFreak:I'm heading up into Oklahoma for the first weekend in Oct. to hit the river doing some canoeing and drinking and SMOKING!0 -
Probably won't do that this trip. Will have the wife and 15 month old with me so we will cruise right on by Choctaw and head on north to the river. It should be a VERY relaxing weekend though.0

In one week I am heading to Souther Utah for Zion, Grand Canyon, and Brice with my wife and my parents.
However, in November my wife and I are going to Thailand for 3 weeks, one of which will be spent on a deserted beach with many cigars.0 -

I live north or Detroit in the Troy area. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, though. (go Blue tomorrow!) I spent plenty of time in the Grayling area training with the Army. Love the lake!
One of my best friends went to Kettering and married a girl from there as well. (who knew there were women there?!)j0z3r:Sounds nice. Is that a Padilla Miami in the pic? How fitting if it is.
When I took the picture, I didn't even think of how fitting it was, lol. And yes, it is the Miami. Wonderful cigar.

There is not many, and when I went I was, well, a little older than the rest. Im 4 years younger than my inlaws. Way way back in the day, we used to ride dirt bikes back behind the Troy PD station.0 -
Nice pics! I love the Padilla Miami, I bought the weekend blitz few weeks ago featuring that smoke. I just not back today from Mrytle Beach. It was a great trip (and much needed). I smoked an Opus X, Vintage 90, I-Press and bought a Padron 1964. My wife decided to make this a yearly thing, which is totally fine by me.0

Sounds excellent! My Padilla's also came from the weekend blitz. I split them with a couple friends and now wish I would have kept them all to myself!

I'm just trying to get up north for one more vacation before the holidays in retail sets in....
All while planning my Punta Cana, Dominican Trip for next June/July0 -
went to gulf shores, Al for labor day...enjoyed a Gurkha Legend & a RP vintage 90. The living room in our condo had a 46" Sony Bravia HDTV so saturday I turned it to face the balcony and sat outside with my cold adult beverage in one hand and a RP vintage 90 in the other while watching college football. Tie all that together with the breeze blowing and it was relaxation at it's finest for me.0

Here in the great state of OK they only sell 3.2% beer. You can get the good stuff in liquor stores but you won't find everyday beers like Bud Light. Anytime I travel out of state I make sure I pick up a case or 2.TatuajeVI:cabinetmaker:

Only 3.2%!!!!! So what are your choices then, a Case of Miller SUPER-Lite or a 6 month old pitcher of kool-aid?OkieSmoke6:
