The only problem with big checks is big tax deductions.. You won't see all that tall cash till your tax refund check next year.. ( if your lucky )

Or if you can adjust your tax forms online with your company you rush out and claim 7 dependents before a big check and then drop it back down after you get said check!

I need to work at your company. At my work, they just expect you to pull double duty and yell at you when you do not get double the work out. What is this OT that people keep talking about??? I thought that was just for the workers.

thats the best part of hourly management. I can do every thing a salery manager can ...i just cant hire/fire (well i can but indirectly) i also get overtime. if i switch over to salery then i lose the OT. I work more hours (by about 10 a week) and when the math is done im not making that much more an hour. However, thats not the promotion im after. i want the one after that. THATS a good pay jump right there.

Apparently, I'm not posting near enough since I got home from Iraq. I may have to rectify that. I'm sure I'm too far behind to be a contender in the race to 1000 but I will be watching closely from the sidelines.
