The Cohiba is raised and the back of the band is void of any marks and is completely white. My buddy brought this in to work for appraisal.

The band looks pretty good (but I still wouldnt smoke it, rather smoke the cigar)

The band looks pretty good, but it alone doesn't always determine if the smoke is legit or not. A good band on a crap cigar doesn't make it a legit CC Cohiba.0

it is not unheard of to have real bands on counterfeit cigars.

Looks like the band that they are using on the New "Piramides". I will check mine. Looks legit to me.0

Looks real. Only question is how did it come off so cleanly? Almost every CC band I take off looks like Edward Scissors hands fought with it for a week.0

I really can't tell tbh. But I guess if your palate is discerning enough you could figure out of its a Cuban just by the taste. Though I know your buddy smoked it and not you.0
