Rate That Song

Here is a fun little game that I did on a few other forums. Basically, a person states a song, another person rates that song and states another song, and it keeps going. <br>
For example:
Tom: Master of Puppets by Metallica
Rob: 7/10. Fur Elise by Beethoven
Jake: 9/10. Monster Mash by Misfits
Hank: 4/10. White and Nerdy by Weird Al
You get the idea. There are some rules however:
1. If you don't have anything nice to say about a song, don't say anything at all. This isn't meant to make people feel bad about their musical taste, but to open people up to different types of music.
2. If you give a low rating, explain why.
3. Provide a link to the song so the person doesn't have to spend half an hour searching for it.

With that said, let me begin:

Tyr - Hold the Heathen Hammer High 7/10 Cool music. They remind me of Stormwarrior. The biggest trapping of this style of music is how easily it falls into self-parody in my opinion, and these guys don't quite avoid the trap.

Rush - The Enemy Within. Youtube Link!

    Flyleaf - I'm So Sick - 8/10

It was quite the mix of.....styles I suppose. Punk with a little screamo. Not bad. I liked it!

Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiSkyEyBczU

Hm.... Interesting.. Not too much into this style anymore. I go as far as Slipknot, Soulfly, and Sepultura... But still - 6/10... Ima give you a very weird one. Its a song I like because of the clever way RAP songs were mashed and remade into a modern alternative rock style. Caution - only for people that like modern music ;).

Slam Krunk by Holiday Parade, 5/10, it just seems too gimicky for me, maybe I'm too into more traditional hip-hop. Speaking of hip-hop, how about 5ves by Hieruspecs, link here:

Good stuff. 5ves by Hieruspecs, 7/10, great to see some hip hop with traditional instruments. Dig the groove that the Rhodes and Bass got going. Wouldn't mind a bit more flare from the DJ, but all in all, I dig it.

A bit different here, but along the same lines City of Angels by Ozomatli.

City of Angels - 6/10. I generally hate hiphop/rap, but that actually rather catchy.

Amon Amarth - "The Pursuit of Vikings" 9/10.

Man, I love those guys. It's tough to top Viking war metal and it's good to see another metal-head on the boards, so this one's for all the metal-heads out there. Fair warning: it's not for everyone.

Banished - Deliver Me Unto Pain gets a 9/10 for me. Reminds me a lot of Autopsy and other bands I used to love back in my death metal days. Kinda makes me want to start listening more often.

Great to see so many other fellow metal heads on here. Redneck is a great one. Lamb of God in general are a great band. I've loved Behemoth ever since Demigod. My best friend was in The Red Chord and played at least one show with Behemoth. He said their live show is incredible.

It's true. I've seen them twice as openers. Once for Lamb of God and once for Manson at Mayhem fest.

The Toadies. 5/10. Sorry Kuz, just not a fan.

Parkway Drive - Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'EM (No pun intended with the song title either).
