Ever notice cigars packed with wax paper that is embossed with a spiderweb pattern? I've had this style of wax paper packaging come with my cigars a few times now. Twice inside a box and once wrapped around a mazo but of a different color. Each time they were from the Dominican Republic. You ever noticed this? I'm just curious now that there's a bit of a pattern developing. Is this used in just one factory perhaps? Or one country? Strange curiosity I know. But I thought I'd ask.
Here's an example with a pic on ccom. Fonseca Arana.

Manuel Quesada uses it I know, specifically on the Arana, and inside a few boxes of different brands I've seen it. Fonseca etc. even some bundles. I think its just a thing he uses, but maybe more factories use it, or maybe its just one factory making several brands that uses it. I'm sure someone else can give us a definite answer.

Fuente uses it too. The box of Sun Grown double chateau has it.

Pretty sure it is the same as what the Edgar Hoil comes wrapped in!

Those are Nicaraguan. Oh well. Guess it's pretty common paper.mmccartneydc:Pretty sure it is the same as what the Edgar Hoil comes wrapped in!
