    First Pumking of the season last night. This year's batch is spot on right now. Last year it felt a little early and the beer suffered for the first month or so until it settled. Just hit markets here yesterday and it's already drinking like a champ.

    Which one? Shipyard is SOOOO EFFING good this year! Just picked up Sam Octo. Meh..... No taste this year. Not a pumpkin but....... still meh. Drinking a Shocktop Shandy.... not bad... not great.

    Pumking by Southern Tier Brewery. The Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin (Pugsley's reserve) in the bomber bottle is pretty good - heavy on cinnamon. I'm not a fan of the Shipyard Pumpkinhead at all. Not brewed with pumpkin, just a mildly spiced wheat ale. If you want pumpkin pie in a glass, get Pumking.
