Things I Hate

So I was sitting at a Chinese Buffet last night eating my crab legs (which I never realized were Chinese) with my son and thinking life is good. Then I realized, life also pisses me off a lot. So , although it may be negative I decided I want to make a post where every member can pick one thing per day that they hate/pisses them off. Doesnt have to be world changing, maybe even its dumb (like mine is today) but I think this little place to rant about one thing per day may in fact slowly change the world.

TODAY, I hate what was playing at the buffet last night on their CD in the restaurant---The XMas song "All I Want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Ive always hated it, I think its ridiculous, I dont find in festive, and dont want to hear some kid lisping about his dental work in my holiday season. You "All I Want" are my enemy of the day.

I hate that I crashed on my bike today. My side hurts, my hip hurts, my shoulder and elbow hurt...on top of all that hurt, I landed on my phone and the touch screen no longer functions. I also hate that I tweaked my rim. Oh well, sh*t happens.

Simple Green and Goo Be Gone are excellent for this as well.

Thanks for the well wishes Doug. I don't know man, I've never felt older than I did today, hobbling and limping like an invalid of some sort.

Running over a yellow jacket nest in the ground while cutting the grass. Getting stung about 4-5 times. Discovering about 30-minutes later that I have become alergic to bee stings in my older age (even though I got stung by one 3-weeks ago with no problems). Having to rush to the urgent care because I'm covered in hives; lips, nose and chin swelling up like the elephant man, and having trouble breathing. Being laid up most of the weekend and not being able to have a cigar!

On the bright side, I did finish mowing the grass before it got really bad, so I guess I've got that going for me.

I hate those days -- it just amazes me how some of these people can "make it" in life...I'm sure you know those kind of idiots?

And before you all tell me "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" ... I know, I know.
I certainly have my moments too, and I'm sure I do things that make other people look at me like I'm an "idiot" ... but for the most part I try to keep myself from "jumping in the ocean" (to use Sniper's analogy) but if not - thankfully the people around me do their best to keep me in check and throw me a life preserver when I need it.
