Forum problems i've been having... no spaces?

Guys, i've been having problems with my posts not adding a line between paragraphs, no matter how many times i press ENTER between them. It just mashes it all together on the thread page. How do i fix this?? it's really annoying... for shiggles i'll try it again and see if it works...

you need to type a less than sign followed my br and then a geater than sign. No spaces

Like this >br< just change the signs around so that the mouth points in and not out.

Same with mine today ...yesterday I just had to press enter and I could drop down as many libes as I wanted to ....
although i can use signs and br and make it work why cant i use the enter key only anymore -

It's really not that difficult bacon.
Here, let me try and break it down.
When you want to include a line break and make the text appear the way it looks when you type up the post, you have to use an html code line break.
So, when I want to start a new paragraph, I type in the following: <br>
So:
paragraph.
line break <br>
line break <br>
paragraph.
If this still doesn't make sense to you, hit the quote button above my post and look at all that I've typed, you'll notice a lot of these <br>
Give it a shot and see if it works for you. -
to make it easy i just copy and paste the breaks. its the fist thing i type when i get onto the forum. from there on out its just "Ctrl+V" every time i wanna have a new line.
