Me, neither, if I hadn't known the daughter of the president of the company, when I was in college.

Still working on my question, guys. Stay tuned.

I learned more about Farmall Tractors this summer than I ever needed to know. A, B, C, H, F, M, MD, F Series, Super Series. I even start looking in Farm fields for the Damn things.

That's gonna be useful knowledge when this recession becomes a depression and we're all forced back to subsistence farming again. Just wait. You'll thank me.

    Question time.

Stop me if you've heard this one before. That is, it seems like I've talked about this around here already, but a quick forum search didn't turn up anything.

Seeing as how it's NFL playoffs time, here's a question about my brush with NFL greatness. Back in the early 1970s, there was an NFL player who was dating a woman who lived up the street from us. When he got tired of hanging out with her, he'd come down and play ball with me and my brothers in our back yard. Who was he?

Starting hints: he played for 2 different teams; he played defense; he went to a Super Bowl.

No, no. He didn't play defense. Well, not until after he retired, anyway.

    Not Foley, maddy.

    Time for another hint?

Okay. His rookie year, he was an All-Star in the AFL. Later, he was an NFL All-Pro 4 times.

Nope. Sorry, losers. Hint #3: at one time, he held the NFL record for most interceptions by a linebacker.

That should say "most interceptions in a season by a linebacker."
