Just sitting there this morning was a rabbit by the fence to the back part of my property. I was going into town to get coffee since the smell sets my wife's morning sickness off. I saw it sitting there, went back into the house and got my pellet gun. One shot to the head dropped it.

Hey Honey!! I got dinner for us, so you can relax tonight; you just gotta skin it, clean it, and cook it.0

Hmmm. Looks like a jackbunny to me. Nobody eats jackbunnies. Phooey
Cottontails, maybe, but not jackbunnies
Pretty good shot, though

The capability of pellet guns has definitely improved since I bought my first Daisy oh too many years ago. While I still have my Gamo Whisper, I just upgraded to a Stoeger X20 Supressed, which is even quieter, and in .22 instead of .177. Does a great job.0

A good pellet gun also goes a long way in controlling noisy, pesky birds who seem to love harassing my cat.
