LOL, that's not it, but nice guess! That actually has a cult following??

Not sure if my movie is too obscure, if there is no interest, or both :-) This clue should put this thing out of its misery. Pascoe, you're at like 23 hours since last guess, so you have my offical blessing to guess again within 24 hrs.

Clue #5: The couple in this movie is the same couple from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

YES!! Man, I remember that movie was played all the time on like HBO and Cinemax in the 90s. I even saw it on ESPN Classic not too long ago. I always loved it for some reason; guess I was the only one!

Way to stick with it y2pascoe! PM me your info

OK, so I know I'm not technically on the good traders list (yet anyway), but I love movies and want to contribute to this thread. Get it right, and I know I can get some good sticks to ya.
This movie's an indie, but it's one of my favorite films of all time. It was made in the last twenty years.
1st Clue: The film features three real life brothers all starring in it, one of whom only has a very minor role.

Then only thing that came to mind was Boondock saints. But they arn't brothers....
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 676
The Royal Tenenbaums....umm..the wilson brothers...thats all that comes to mind
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 4,133
Scrooged fits the category, Bill Murray had 2 brothers in it. But it is over 20 yrs old. They were also in Caddyshack.

Could this be "WHITE CHICKS" with the Wayon Brothers?

No right answer yet, but one of you was on the right track.
2nd Clue: One of the supporting actors in this movie had a very unfortunate incident at a toll booth in a previous film.

    The Bottle Rocket!

You are correct sir! PM me your info!

The tool booth reference did the job.
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 1,707
Yeah...I thought about saving that for clue #3 or 4. Was going to use referrences to the Lawn Rangers and Dignan's 75 year plan as well.

    GOOGLE sooo ruins these games

This movie was filmed by Francis Ford Coppola.
There is Jazz in the soundtrack.

I agree, the hardest part of this game is making clues that can not be easily searched but aren't too strange that no one gets it.
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 4,133
CLue 2: 3 people die in the movie. The lead character has certain skills that lead the storyline.

    Assassination Tango

    Interesting answer. Wrong, but interesting.
Elk City? You need to branch out.
Drilling Fluids Engineer? Is that fancy for mud logging? LOL. Just kidding.
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 1,386
IMDB failed me;( and no I'm an actual mud engineer lol
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 4,133
I was kidding about the mud logger comment. I had to deal with an environmental issue not long ago that involved the spilling of some of this diesel-like-based mud. Nasty stuff. Couldn't coral it. Couldn't collect it. Stunk up the entire area.

Hint 3: Billy Dee Williams has a very small part. The lead actor is a very big name. You can almost hear the Jazz saxaphone.
  • Everyone, Registered Users Posts: 4,133
Hint 4: Harrison Ford and Cindy Williams have minor parts. I can hear it now.

The conversation? I think it fits the clues but boy it's been a loooooooong time since I've watched it.
