Yes!!! Winner!!! This is one of my all-time favorite movies. For those of you unfamiliar with this story I'll explain how it fits the clues:beatnic:Last of the Mohicans
It takes place in the Mohawk and Hudson river valleys of New York during the French and Indian War. Based on James Fenimore Cooper's book, part of the Longstocking Saga, the main character and his indian family are trying to protect a British General's two daughters from their enemy, the Huron, who have sworn a blood vengeance against the General and his family.
